ETT Is the most modern tank storage terminal of VTTI group. A state-of-the-art facility, ETT is strategically located in Europe’s busiest port of Rotterdam and is capable of receiving Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC’s). Safety is one of the top priorities in the industry. One of the many problems presented is the headcount during an evacuation. These petrochemical plants are vast and have many buildings and tanks on them, when a person is missing it can take hours to locate them.
Advanced Mobility Services adopted a hardware localisation solution and requested Tripany to build a web application and a cloud screen solution around the hardware. In a very short period of time Tripany has been able to present both solution’s to much of ETT’s and Advanced Mobility Services’ satisfaction. The effective and modular way of software development gave Tripany the advantage to benefit from the earlier developed software for Advanced Mobility Services.
The implementation was smooth and soft and came with more capabilities then ETT initially asked for. Besides the cloud-based track and trace system the asset management ERP platform `M2M Reporter`, now called H2M reporter provides detailed information for example on workflow and contractor hours spend on the actual job location. This provides valuable insights in the field of data management and data analysis.
